| ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | We recently had our bathroom refitted and the whole family are delighted with the results. Tony, visited our home three times as we kept changing our mind as to what we wanted and was very patient as we kept adding work to the schedule. Luke, Simon & Lucas worked really hard and I have no hesitation in recommending them for their politeness, neatness and attention to detail in all aspects of the refit. They were a pleasure to have in the house and happy to answer any questions that we had as well as consulting with us the various stages of the refit.A big thank you to Tony and his team and we can't wait to have our en-suite refitted in September. It has a large front door, an easy floor plan to navigate, and looks fabulous. I will tell you what sets AJ Bird apart from some others. You listened to what we wanted and gave exactly that. | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | We have just recently had our bathroom revamped by AJ Bird Bathrooms. From the moment i left a message on Tony's answering machine and he called back immediately i knew we were in good hands. Tony called the next day and asked us what we required but also giving us some genuine tips and advice which we were very grateful for. He also kindly offered help with some problems with our existing bathroom until the time we could have the refit. He sent through a very competitive quote and gave us a day to day listing of what would be done each day. Luke and Simon arrived on the first day and completed the removal of the old bathroom installed new pipe work and some fittings on the following day finishing off their work on the third. All this was done in a very friendly competent respectful and professional manner.Lucas then came and tiled all the walls and flooring in 2 days coming back on the 3rd day to grout. He works so hard and skilfully with a very kind and friendly manner. Luke and Simon returned the next day to finish the work. Overall a very professional and impressive experience and one which i would fully recommend to anyone thinking of having a brand new bathroom or revamping an old one . | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Bathroom badly needed updating, with the bath taken out and a shower unit put in. Did some research and Tony Bird came over to give us a quote and advise us what could be done. Everything in the bathroom came out and was replaced, with the floor and untiled wall space left in a perfect state for finishing. Dates for starting and finishing were kept to, and we were always informed of who was coming and what was expected to be done that day. All the workmen were cheerful and friendly, worked very hard and even managed to fit in something extra that came up. We were both very happy with the work done and with what it cost. | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | My en-suite shower had never worked properly! Water did not drain away and the floor was really slippery - so I did not use it! I much preferred baths anyway! However, with increasing age I was finding it hard to get out of the bath. In fact being stuck in the bath for over an hour convinced me I had to get the shower sorted! I wanted someone near to Thorney and was told about Tony Bird. I phoned and arranged an initial visit. He came on time, assessed the problem and told me he would be in touch. He had obviously given some more thought and discussion with his team as he sent me two quotes to consider. The new plan was cheaper, less invasive and worked beautifully. The experienced workmen arrived on time, knew what they were doing and took pride in their work. I am having great pleasure in using the shower now! | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Having installed a new shower room last year A J Bird was the first choice to fit a replacement mixer tap in the kitchen. There was a swift reply to my enquiry, the replacement was identified and ordered and fitted in a very short time span before Christmas. The installation team was the same excellent lads who did the bathroom and later fitted a large radiator. Given the peculiarities of the house's plumbing, they drained the cold tank and made the replacement and sorted out all the airlocks. I now have a trouble free cold water supply in the kitchen. In addition there also fitted one extra grab rails on stair cases. They were cheerful, thorough, efficient and left the place spotless.
